Founded in 1987, Enemi Oy is a Finnish verification and certification body. Based in Tampere, the company provides organisations with verification, certification and training services. Its certification services include ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, ISO 45001 occupational health and safety, and ISO 50001 energy management.

How the project was delivered

Before outreach, the target companies' existing management system certificates were researched, along with their issue and expiry dates where possible.

This made it possible to assess, company by company, whether the more timely conversation concerned first-time certification or an approaching recertification.

The target companies were therefore approached with tailored messages. Each company's own situation informed the outreach and the choice of a relevant opening for the conversation.

Decision-makers were contacted personally by email and phone. The aim was to find companies with a current or upcoming need for certification, rather than simply increase the number of meetings.

Results

The approach generated meetings with relevant companies for Enemi.

The project also generated requests for quotes, and one of the meetings booked in spring progressed to a certification sale.
